Frequently Asked Questions

How does Orbit work?

Orbit lets you check in at public venues (bars, clubs, concerts, restaurants, sports clubs, gyms, universities, and events) and see other people who are at the same place. Your profile is visible only while you're at the venue and disappears automatically after 12 hours or when you leave.

How long does a check-in last?

12 hours. When the time is up (or you manually check out), you become invisible at the venue and your profile no longer appears to people there.

What happens to matches and conversations when I leave the venue?

Likes, super likes, matches, and conversations that weren't answered by both sides disappear at check-out. Only conversations that were actively answered during the check-in survive permanently.

Does Orbit track my location all the time?

No. Orbit only collects your location at the moment of check-in to verify that you're physically present at the venue. We do not track your position in the background.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Find Orbit and select Cancel Subscription. Cancellation must be done at least 24 hours before the next billing period.

How do I delete my account?

Inside the app, go to Profile, then Settings, and select Delete Account. Your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days, as stated in our Privacy Policy.

How do I report a user?

In the people list or on the user's profile, tap the three dots (menu) and select "Report". Describe the reason for the report. Reports are reviewed and actions are taken automatically to protect the community.

How do I block someone?

On the user's profile or in the conversation, tap the three dots and select "Block". The blocked user won't be able to see your profile or contact you anymore.

Can I request my personal data?

Yes. Under Brazil's LGPD, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Send your request to suporte@orbitverse.io. Response time: up to 15 business days.
